Some time ago we asked around 20 of the best Acid House producers we know to submit to a compilation and give us their take on the Acid sound. The rules were simple: record a song using all hardware, all in one take, and preferably recorded to cassette tape. (granted there were some exceptions).

The result is a two-part collection ranging from old jackin' style Chicago tracks, hard Midwest bangers, acidic electro, and everything in-between. More than anything, this album is a virtual hurricane of 707s, 303s, 909s, warm strings, pads, and of course the bouncing-squelching-rubbery 303 basslines.
