Armed with a well-sized flotilla of synths and drum-machines, his approach to music and its process is elusive. A healthy mix of sonic textures but familiar and obscure, "The Rubber Shorts" is a timeline beginning with languishing acid-lines and squishy percussion, finishing out with musical phrases and overtures truly of another planet.
