| Blending elements of electro, drone, glitch and dub into a massive audio stew of sludgy yet coherent tracks, Minnesota-based Exuviae continues his pursuit of an ever-changing musical style within the confines of modern electronic music. A great departure from earlier ambient works on labels such as Hypnos and Endless Ascent, 'Tantalum Tantrum' appears more concurrent with work on his own label, Noise Koncept. Here he introduces us to a series of fractured beats peppered with the heavy use of japanese hentai samples. Still present are the existing arrays of noise, ambiance, and droning sound beds Exuxiae fans are used to, albeit a bit twisted.
