| Initially meant as an expendable alias, FB5k turned into a constant side project with contibutions to various netlabel collabs through '07 and '08. A synth and sampling-centered hub that branches into subsets of 80s and 90s electronic music, happily pushing familiar sound cues and genre clichés past thier original intentions. While maintaining strong 8Bit influences, this guy's way too cool for straight-up chip music (just look at the picture). He goes beyond it to chunky rhythyms, freaked-out acid-lines (check "Strobologics"), and endless amounts of funky synth-work As FB5K releases a far bigger amount of purist chip music under the pseoudonym "Flashbob", most recently on fellow F:K artist Jellica's netlabel Kittenrock.
